The Eagle Widget is geared towards marketing to the prospective undergraduate student.
The Eagle Widget is mostly for admissions use, but can be used by anyone who wants to invite students to apply or attend an Admissions event. To use it, drag the UMW Eagle Widget into any widgetized area.
In the widget panel, select from 3 possibilities:
- Apply: This requires no additional text, title or link. Just place it, and save it.
- Ask the Eagle: This displays the Ask the Eagle application window where prospective students can ask admissions-related questions. It requires no additional text, title or link. Just place it, and save it.
- Visit UMW: This allows for some text. If you want to help admissions market an upcoming event targeting prospective students, and you want to invite them, type in the URL you want to link to and text about it in the Excerpt/Blurb section. Save the widget as usual.
