Before you can use a VPN connection, you must request access and have it approved by your supervisor and IT Security. Follow this link to access the VPN Request Form.
Follow these steps to download and install the VPN client software and the DUO two-factor authentication system.
Install the VPN Client
- To install the VPN Client software, please go to https://vpn1.umw.edu.
- You must be off campus to access this site.
- Log in with your UMW credentials and follow the instructions to download and install the software.
- You will need to be logged in to an account with administrative permissions on your computer.
