UMW is leveraging two applications to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) to a variety of applications. We leverage Microsoft Authenticator and Cisco Duo.

UMW is working to configure Duo as part of faculty and staff authentication for web applications using Single Sign-On (SSO). This includes Banner. We are also using Duo as part of authentication for VPN connections. For more information on Duo, click here.
