New students receive a UWM NetID once the Admissions deposit is processed, typically in two business days. UMW Admissions will email instructions that contain your UMW NetID and email address. This information will also be posted in the student’s EagleBound portal.
Faculty and Staff
If you’re new to the university you can look it up your NetID and email address using the UMW Directory on the UMW Home Page. Enter part of your name (first and/or last) in the search box above, select “Search Faculty & Staff,” and click “Go.”
Some tips that you may find helpful are:
- If the search yields no results, try it again, entering a portion of your name (i.e. Lowe instead of Lowery).
- If you are a new employee, your account is created up to one business day after HR enters your new hire data.
