IT Support Services – Notice of Planned Downtime
(THIS IS THE MAINTENANCE THAT WAS CANCELED LAST WEEK DUE TO IMPENDING INCLEMENT WEATHER)

System:  Faculty and staff email systems

Maintenance Start Time:  5:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015

Maintenance End Time:  12:00 AM, Saturday, October 10, 2015

Impact to You:  UMW technicians will perform maintenance on the faculty and staff email system that requires downtime.  Users connected to Exchange through a client program or the web interface will be disconnected and access to email will be unavailable until the work is complete.

As part of this maintenance, the look of the login page for Outlook Webmail will change.  A sample of the new login page is provided below.  Login to your email is the same as before, just enter your NetID and Password.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY ISSUES CONNECTING TO EMAIL ONCE THIS MAINTENANCE IS COMPLETE, PLEASE RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AND TRY AGAIN.  IF YOU HAVE CONTINUED ISSUES, CONTACT THE HELP DESK.
