Banner and VOIP Phone Maintenance This Evening

Banner and our voice over IP (VOIP) phone system will undergo maintenance this evening. Both systems will experience downtime as detailed below.  Please plan accordingly.

  • VOIP Phone Maintenance: The Department of Network and Communication Services will perform system maintenance on phones beginning at 5 PM, Friday, November 21.  Between the hours of 5 and 6 PM phones will need re-register several times.  Any call you might be on during this time could be dropped during the re-registration.
  • The Banner PRODUCTION system will be unavailable from 6 PM Friday, November 21 until 6 AM Saturday, November 22 while important maintenance work is performed.  Affected components include INB, SSB, and Reporting.  This means that actions like registration and student payments through Banner via EagleNet/EaglePay must wait until the maintenance work is completed and the systems are returned to active status.
