Gravity Forms: Checking for Spam

Sometimes a user will contact you and say that they submitted a form, but never got the confirmation. And you may not have gotten a notification either. In that case, it’s likely they wound up in the spam folder. But, how to get them out?

First, navigate to the form in question by clicking Forms at the left. This will give you a list of all your forms.

Hover over the form you want to check, and click “Entries.”

You will then get a list of all the entries for that form. At the top of that page, you’ll see a link that reads “Spam” and has a parentheses with a number in it. If the number is anything but zero, click to view the spam listing.

Find the entry you were looking for, hover over the name, and then select “Not Spam.”

The listing will now show up with the regular entries listing. If you want to make sure that the person now gets a confirmation, click on the entry. In the entry editing screen, you’ll see, to the right, a box that reads “Notifications.” Check the box marked “User Notifications.” This will send the user the confirmation, albeit a little late.  (Note: Click “Admin Notification” if you want to get it in your inbox as well).
