Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) provides technology support to the entire UMW community in support of the academic mission. The ITSS group is divided into three teams to provide this support:
- IT Help Desk – The IT Help Desk provides technical support for faculty, staff and students, and is the place to report any IT related question or problem. It is the goal of the Help Desk staff to resolve your issue immediately, but if they cannot, it will be assigned to service technicians in ITSS or other IT units as appropriate for follow up.
- Desktop Support – These technicians provide computer installation support and handle computer desktop/laptop and printer repairs and replacements. They also provide assistance if you have a virus or malware, if software needs to be installed on your computer, or if something is not working properly.
- Lab and Classroom Management – This group provides support for the AV and computing systems installed in labs and classrooms across the Fredericksburg and Stafford campuses.
