They are also notifying affected users of the compromise via email or SMS Text Messaging. At present, it is unknown whether any information other than username and password was taken. New wireless option
We are pleased to announce a change to wireless network access intended to make connecting to guest access easier for internal users. Available later today, we have created a “UMW” SSID which will provide guest access to internal users by using your NETID and password. UMW users who choose to use guest wireless can do so without completing the registration process by selecting the “UMW” network. It is important to note that guest wireless is not encrypted and does not provide access to the internal network. This means that users will still need to use UMW-Secured to access Banner INB, Shared Drives, Exchange, and other services. Detailed information on the new wireless connection option and our existing connections is available at: http://technology.umw.edu/connecting/connecting-my-laptop/. We hope you find this additional wireless network helpful for your basic uses. … [Read more...]

Check the list of approved applications in Twitter. (Log in to Twitter.com, click on the drop down menu in the top right, select Settings and then Apps.)
