We are pleased to announce a change to wireless network access intended to make connecting to guest access easier for internal users. Available later today, we have created a “UMW” SSID which will provide guest access to internal users by using your NETID and password. UMW users who choose to use guest wireless can do so without completing the registration process by selecting the “UMW” network.
It is important to note that guest wireless is not encrypted and does not provide access to the internal network. This means that users will still need to use UMW-Secured to access Banner INB, Shared Drives, Exchange, and other services.
