Jetpack Site Stats

Jetpack Site Stats allows you to view visitors on your sites and track your most popular content. With Jetpack, you can get an at-a-glance view of  basic information on the number of visits, the search terms/referrers that brought them to your site, the top pages or posts, and the number of clicks off your site and where they went to.

Jetpack is now installed and comfigured on all UMW.EDU WordPress sites. To view your statistics, follow this tutorial:

Select to Jetpack > Site Stats in your side navigation.

Selection from side menu

When you do, you will see a brief bar chart overview of site statistics. This is from a site that has had Jetpack installed for a few months. Most recently-installed Jetpack sites may have only one or two bars on it. Give it about a week to start accumulating more reports.

Jetpack Stats Screen in WordPress Admin panel.

It is important to note that Jetpack is a useful tool for WordPress web administrators. The data is at-a-glance only and cannot be exported. To share the data, you would need to print the page as a PDF file. If you need detailed exported data that you can use for analysis in an alternate reporting tool, please contact the UMW Web Team. Include the URL and title of the site, as well as the date range of the report (earliest date available is 10/7/2011).
