IT Support Services (ITSS) provides three vital functions to the University. Its team is divided into three teams to provide this support:
- IT Help Desk – The IT Help Desk provides centralized support for faculty, staff and students. The Help Desk provides incident reporting, tracking and resolution for hardware, software, infrastructure, audio visual, phone or other IT related questions or problems. The IT Help Desk staff triages problems as they come in, and assigns them to other IT units as appropriate if they cannot resolve the issue immediately.
- Desktop Support – The Desktop Support team provides new computer installation support, manages the computer replacement cycles, and handles computer desktop/laptop and printer repairs and replacements. This team will also provide assistance if you have a virus or other malware, if software needs to be installed on your computer, or if something is not working properly.
- Lab and Classroom Management – The Lab and Classroom Management team provides support to the many labs and classrooms across campus, making sure that the environment is prepared for the teaching and learning process. This team gets called if something goes awry in a lab or classroom. Instructions on how to use the resources in each of the classrooms on campus is available for your use.
