- Click File, then click Import and Export.

- The Import and Export Wizard window will display. Select Import from another program or file, then click Next.

- From the listing of import file types, click Microsoft Excel 97-2003, then click Next.

- Select the destination folder. Since you are importing contacts that you previously saved to an Excel file, click Contacts, then click Next.

- Browse to select the Excel file you wish to import into the Contacts folder. Click the option to indicate the desired action regarding duplicate items, then click Next.

- Select Contacts as the destination folder, then click Next.

- You will be prompted to confirm the import. Check the box beside the Import action, then click Finish.

- The Contacts previously saved to the Excel file will be inserted into the Outlook Contacts folder.
