Reference Online Help

Microsoft® Word has an extensive Help feature, which provides detailed information about how the program works and how to use it. The Help feature may be accessed in a number of ways:

Word’s Online Help is an easy way to finding help. You enter a question in plain English.

To use the Online Help:

  1. Click on the Microsoft Office Word Help icon to enter your help question.
  2. Enter a word in the space provided.
  3. Click on Search to search for help topics related to the question you have just entered.
  4. If one of the topics listed appears to be what you are looking for, click on that topic to read its contents.
