Create a New Document

To create a new document:

  1. Go to the Office button.
  2. Select New.
  3. The Task Pane opens. Select Blank Document from the Task Pane.

Word Extra:

Selecting the New Blank Document icon  on the Quick Access Toolbar also creates a new document without opening the dialog box.

You can also use Control + N to create a New Document.
