The Cut, Copy, and Paste commands operate the same way throughout other applications.
- The Cut command will REMOVE the selected information and place that information on the clipboard. The clipboard is a storage place that will temporarily hold your information. This information may then be moved (pasted in) to another location.
- The Copy command will DUPLICATE the selected information and place that duplicated information on the clipboard.
- The Paste command will insert information that has been either copied or cut to the clipboard and INSERT it from the clipboard to the new location.

- Copy or cut selected information (see above). This information is now placed on the clipboard.
- Place the cursor at the location where you want to insert the information that you copied or cut.
- Click on the Edit Menu.

- Choose Paste.
