Cut-Copy-Paste

The Cut, Copy, and Paste commands operate the same way throughout other applications.

  • The Cut command will REMOVE the selected information and place that information on the clipboard. The clipboard is a storage place that will temporarily hold your information. This information may then be moved (pasted in) to another location.
  • The Copy command will DUPLICATE the selected information and place that duplicated information on the clipboard.
  • The Paste command will insert information that has been either copied or cut to the clipboard and INSERT it from the clipboard to the new location.
