The Office Button 
replaces the File menu in earlier versions of PowerPoint. It is in the upper left hand corner of the screen and holds the basic file control commands.
PowerPoint Options is where the commands that were in the Tools Menu/Options in earlier versions reside in PowerPoint 2007 and there is so much more. Here you can set up autocorrect, reach Microsoft Online, customize the Quick Access Toolbar, and more. Click on the Office Button and then click on PowerPoint Options at the bottom of the window to explore the options available.
