Using Groups

A Group contains buttons with icons. Excel 2007 includes many built-in icons in each Group within the corresponding Tab on the Ribbon. For example, the icons for the functions Cut, Copy, and Paste are on the Home Tab/Clipboard Group. You may use the DropDown Arrow to see additional functions. The QuickAccess Toolbar and the Office Button also give you access to many functions.

The most commonly icons used in this tutorial are listed in the table below:
