Customizing Fonts

The font tab within the Formatting dialog box is used to create visually dynamic text. This tab offers various formatting options. These include the following:

Font Lists available fonts
Font Style Adds attributes (bold and italics)
Size Sets the font size
Underline Sets the type (if any) of underlining to apply
Color Selects the font color
Normal font Returns to the default font settings
Effect Toggles Strikethrough / Superscript / Subscript on or off
Preview Previews the changes as you make them

To customize fonts contained within a cell(s):

  1. Select the cell(s) to configure.
  2. Navigate to the Home Tab/Font Group.
  3. Click on the pull down arrow to see the Format dialog box.
    • Click on the Font tab.
    • Make the appropriate changes (font, color, style, etc.)
    • Click OK.

or

  1. Navigate to the Home Tab/Cells Group. Click on Format. The Format Cells dialog box will appear.
    • Click on the Font tab.
    • Make the appropriate changes (font, color, style, etc.)
    • Click OK.
