Views

There are two principal views that you will use in Access 2007 – the object’s primary view and the design view. When you open an Access database it will appear in table format in the datasheet view. In the table format in datasheet view you can name your fields and fill the fields with data. In design view, you can change the length and data-type of the field and make other design considerations. Tables, forms, reports, and other Access objects all have design views in addition to their primary views. For example, reports have a report view and a design view; Above the current view are tabs that you can click to move between open objects. To change the view of an object, click on the down arrow in the Views Group on the Home Tab and select the appropriate view. View examples appear below.
