Insert an Image

You can enhance your documents by incorporating graphic objects. These graphics are divided into two categories – those that are created in Word, and those that are created in another application.  Word-native images include shapes (lines, arrows, block images, flowcharts, etc.) and other stock images that come pre-loaded with Word. Outside images can be any other
type of image: a digital photograph, a image from a web site, or a scanned document.

TO INSERT STOCK IMAGES:

  1. Place your cursor where you want to insert the image in the document.
  2. In the toolbox, click the Object Palette button.

Then, click the Clip Art button.
  3. You can use the drop-down menu to narrow the selection in order to find an appropriate image.
