The look and feel of Microsoft Word 2008 has not changed much from previous versions, with one major exception: the Elements Gallery.
The Elements Gallery is located below the toolbars in Word. It provides quick access to some of the most-used features. From the Elements Gallery, you can add SmartArt graphics, WordArt, charts, tables, and templates to your documents and presentations.
