Choose a view
The Calendar offers several different views so that you can see and work with just the schedule that you want. For example, you can use work week view to see your Monday through Friday schedule.
- Click Calendar.

- On the toolbar, click Day.

- Notice that the schedule for the current day appears.

- On the toolbar, click Work Week.

- Notice that the Monday through Friday schedule appears.

Add an event
In Entourage, an event is a calendar appointment that has a specific start date and end date and a specific start time and end time. Whereas tasks and notes help you organize your own time, you can invite other people to an event.
- On the toolbar, click New.

- Type a subject and location for the event.

- Select the start date and end date and the start time and end time for the event.

- If the event recurs, on the Occurs pop-up menu, select the interval.

Tip: If you want to receive a reminder before the event, leave the Reminder check box selected.
Invite and send
You can invite any person in your address book or anyone whose e-mail address you know to the event. People whom you invite to the event will receive an e-mail message that contains the name, date, time, and any details that you included about the event.
Note If the event that you want to invite other people to attend is not already open, on the calendar, double-click the event.
- On the event toolbar, click Invite.

- Type the names of people in the contacts list or e-mail addresses of the people whom you want to invite, and then press ESC to close the Invite box.

Tip: If both you and the contacts whom you invite have an account on the same Microsoft Exchange Server, click the Scheduling tab (located under the start times and end times and start dates and end dates) to check their availability at the specified time. - Click Send Now.

Notice that the event appears on your calendar at the date and time that you specified.

Tip: The small icons on an event indicate that a reminder is set (
), other people are invited (
), and the event recurs (
).
