Banner Downtimes for Year-End Processing

IT Support Services – Notice of Planned Downtime – Fiscal Year-End Processing

System:  Banner INB, SSB, Reporting, and other systems that connect to Banner.

Downtime Start and End Times:

June 28th – 4:oo PM

  • Boss Cars   Summer Decals  – off line and not accepting requests or payments.
  • Eagle Pay Student Account Payments- off line and not accepting payments.
  • Admissions and Housing Student Deposits- off line and not accepting payments.
  • Commerce Manger event sites- off line and not accepting payments.

June 30th – 2:00 PM

  • Banner Down – Banner taken off line, users unable to access the system, unless involved in financial end of year tasks.

June 30th – 3:00 PM

  • Banner Restricted Users – restricted users may access Banner for necessary reporting or data views.

July 1st – 12 Noon

  • Banner system restored for FY17 operations.
  • Following the  Banner Restore – All university system  may be brought online.

Impact to You:  Banner Production, including SSB, INB, and all system exchanging data with Banner, will be unavailable for fiscal year-end processing.  Finance will make every effort to have the system restored as quickly as possible.  Please look for an email to notify users that Banner PROD including SSB has been restored.
