EagleNet Downtime Update

UPDATE:  12/20/13 – 11:34 AM:

EagleNet is back up and functioning. Due to the change of address, some requests from off campus may attempt to go to the old address.  Please be patient as the update ripples through the Internet over the next several hours.

 

UPDATE:  12/20/13 – 10:00 AM:

EagleNet maintenance is continuing.   While the EagleNet page is back online and you can log in, the connections to Banner from inside EagleNet are currently unavailable.  Technicians are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved soon.

In the meantime, access to Banner Self Service is available by going to http://banner.umw.edu

EagleNet will be unavailable beginning Friday morning, December 20.  On-campus users can expect the downtime to occur between 8 and 9 AM.  If you are accessing EagleNet from off-campus, the downtime will also begin at 8 AM, but may last a few hours longer.  During the EagleNet downtime, you will see a temporary web page that will direct you to Banner Self-Service.  This way, you can still access Banner services while the EagleNet work is under way.  Once the work is complete, you will see the EagleNet page as usual.  There is no need for users to update any links or bookmarks as part of this work.

The Help Desk will be open and available to assist users on Friday from 8:00 AM –  5:00 PM.  Status updates, if needed, will be posted on this site and on our Twitter feed.
