Wired Connection

This section provides information on wired ethernet connections to the network in non-residential buildings. Visit our Wireless Network section for instructions on wireless network access outside of residence halls.

Before you proceed, make sure you must have obtained a Network Account (NetID and Password).

If you have a Network Account, select the type of connection you’ll be making from a non-residential buildings on campus. (Generally, desktop machines in offices will be configured for a wired connection.)

Students in non-residential buildings, such as classrooms, libraries, dining halls, and public spaces, will generally be using a wireless connection.
