Connecting to the Secured Network – Ubuntu

Suggestion: Print these instructions before you attempt to configure your system.

  1. From the top Panel , click on the NetworkManager Applet and select Connect to Hidden Wireless Network…

  2. Enter the Network name as UMW-Secured.
  3. Set the Wireless security type to WPA & WPA2 Enterprise.
  4. Set Authentication to Protected EAP (PEAP).
  5. Enter Username and Password, then select Connect.

  6. If prompted to select a CA Certificate, check Don’t warn me again and then Ignore.
