Students, faculty, and staff will access UMW resources differently, depending on where you are, and whether or not you are using a wired or wireless connection. Connections in Academic and Administrative buildings differ from connections in residence halls. You may also want to connect your mobile device to the campus network.
- Before you proceed, make sure you must have obtained a Network Account (NetID and Password).
- If you have a Network Account, select the type of connection you’ll be making from a non-residential buildings on campus. (Generally, desktop machines in offices will be configured for a wired connection.)
- See the instructions that we’ve provided for configuring your system and connecting to the network while in class, in your office, using a wired connection or on the public wireless network.
- Apogee, our partner for services in the Residence Halls, provides instructions for connecting to the Residential network.
