Publish Course

Canvas courses first appear as unpublished so students can not have access to the course until the professor has published it.  The Publish Course tool allows professors to make their courses available for students to access.  In the Courses settings professors can create their course and then click Published in order to then click  Publish Course.

  1. Choose your desired Course.
  2. Click Home from the left side.
  3. On the right, click Course Setup Checklist.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, click Publish Course.
