You can easily copy course content from one Canvas course to another. Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to Canvas and go to your new course. Click on the Course Setup Checklist to activate the Next Steps screen.
2. Choose Import Content.
3. You’ve now activated the Import Wizard. Click on Copy content from another Canvas course.
4. In the following dialogue box, enter the Course ID, beginning with the term designation, of your concluding course. Example: 201108_Acct_201_A1. Then select Copy From this Course.
5. Now you can choose to either Copy Everything or select individual items you want to copy over to your new course by checking and unchecking the boxes.
6. Depending on your selection, you may see this screen:
7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Import Course Content.
8. A few minutes and you’re done!
9. Go to your new course, edit as needed and don’t forget to PUBLISH the course when ready!
